Descend into the valley, turning right onto the N90 in Aime. Follow this road to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and then take the D902 to Tignes and then Val d’Isere. The journey should take approx. 60 minutes with ample parking in both resorts.
Just 45 minutes away, above the valley town of Bourg Saint Maurice are two hidden gems. La Rosiere is linked to the Italian resort of La Thuile, whilst petite St Foy provides some of the best off piste skiing in the region.

Descend into the valley, turning right onto the N90 in Aime. Follow this road to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and then take the D1090 to La Rosiere. The journey should take approx. 45 minutes with ample parking. You can only reach La Thuile in winter on skis from La Rosiere Fort.

Descend into the valley, turning left onto the N90 in Aime. Follow this road to Moutiers and then take the D915 to Brides les Bains. The journey should take approx. 30 minutes with ample parking at the valley cable car station. You can also drive up to each resort for more direct access to the pistes.
